Don't worry non-French speaker, I'll translate it after few explanations in French first ;)

..............

..........

Engliiish :

Okay, I owe you a little explanation. I noticed that this place was swarming with great ideas and tutorial but in French, not that much, so I fix this small injustice.
Moreover it is a little personal revenge from people who think that since we're doing digital art, we can not draw, it's the computer that does everything and it's too easy.
And what I replied: you've completely mistaken ! It is actually drawing, the computer does nothing more than what it is asked as the paint does nothing other than what the brush asks. Every"digital artist" was first a traditional one.

So, here's a quick translation :

Every step, I use a new layer...

1rst Step : Let's work on some basic anatomy. The body has a bulb shape moreover, male chest is wider than for women. On the contrary, the pelvis is wider for women when it appears more elongated for men (keep that in mind, it's important when you're building the skeleton of your character).

2nd step : We will quickly build the silhouette that will then enable us to locate the muscles.
You can also notice that the "skeleton" that I just spoke about is used to see the proportions on the body (as for hips or the bottom of the chest).
Then it's a matter of practice and taste. The variations in the proportions will change the middle part of the character.

Last step : details ... basically, you base your design on the "silhouette" we just finished, while adding curves and giving it a more human side.
This is where anatomy becomes more precise.

For men, the flank overflows on the top side toward the outside of the iliac bone (although it inward to the woman). The thighs are one of the most difficult because of the complexity of the muscles (look precisely to the drawing).

Okaaay now you can draw me a sexy calendar... or at least show me your results xD

Link to the video I made to illustrate (be careful, I drew a naked dude so, don't say I did not warn you) : [link] (sorry for the crappy quality xD)
