" He (Thingol) expressed no interest in the little village of mortals that had been discovered further east. Galadriel was fascinated by them, but they regarded the elves with such superstitious awe that Celeborn instructed they be left strictly alone unless they were in need of urgent aid.
Galadriel spent days in the woods, watching them while being careful to evade their notice. In those early days she developed a fondness for the race that would never leave her. "
About the drawing itself, I tried to play with light to show the fact that she's trying not to be seen by those humans ^^ ...And since it's the beginning of mankind I chose a Gallic inspired design for the human village ...I hope it fits well.
Do you now Danaus in Greek mythology and what punishment his daughters had ? the Danaides (his daughters) were punished in Tartarus(<Hell) by being forced to carry water in a jug to fill a bath but the jugs were actually sieves, so the water always leaked out...tht's exactly what I'm feeling right now.
I work and read again and again but it's as if the mass of things to do does not diminish. It is all discouraging
