Glorfindel and Balrog

Epic Battle !!!

Finally, I'm done with this one, after 30h of work !! damn it's been such a long time since my last digital illustration (it was the one with Celeborn and the weird sky xD).

I wanted to pay my tribute to this awesome lord : Glorfindel, Lord of the House of the Golden Flower : the Balrog Slayer !
He needed justice because he is one of the best character ever (with Ecthelion !) and when I ask people about Glorfindel, they see the teenager guy they chose for the decipher cards -__-' !!


I read the Fall of Gondolin not a long ago and I was listening to LoTR soundtrack it inspired me very much (Gosh, I'm in love with Howard Shores)

When elves were fleeing after the fall of the city, Glorfindel saved the lives of Tuor, Idril, and all the company when he defied the balrog that following them in the mountain.
They fought long and Glorfindel finally stabbed it in the belly, but when the balrog fell it grabbed his long golden hair, pulling him back down over the edge of the cliff.
He died in the fall, but his body was borne up by Thorondor, the great Eagle, and buried him.

I have to confess that I was not sure to finish this one...it is the 1rst time I draw a Balrog now I'm going to adopt it ! its name is Mou !

I'm so busy lately, it is just crazy...moreover, my mom got very badly sick so it's very complicated. I need a break...
